ogni volta che arrivo in una città che non conosco cerco sempre, come prima cosa, di trovare un punto di osservazione dal quale potermene fare un’idea generale. Questo per provare a capirne il mood, prima di assaporarne colori, profumi e sapori. In generale, mi piace la vita di città. Lo so che per certi versi può essere logorante, frenetica, stressante e lo è, però ha anche il suo bello. Puoi passeggiare a Natale tra le vetrine luminose del centro, cambiare tre locali in una sola sera, fare un brunch con le amiche la domenica o un aperitivo dopo il lavoro, mangiare indiano, giapponese e libanese nella stessa settimana. Mostre d’arte, concerti, spettacoli, fiere e sfilate poi non si risparmiano. E se siete così fortunate da trovare un posto come Civico 30, la vita di città non è poi così male ;-).

Whenever I arrive in a city I always try, first, to find a vantage point from which having a general idea. This is to try to understand the mood, before savoring colors, scents and flavors. I like the urban life. From some points of view it can be stressful and hectic but, at the same time, it has its own beauty. You can walk among the bright windows of the center during Christmas time, change three pub in one night, do a Sunday brunch with friends or an after work drink, eat Indian, Japanese and Lebanese in the same week. Art exhibitions, concerts, shows and fairs are innumerable. In the end, if you find a place like Civico 30, the life in the city can be very sweet.
